Israel's President to Be Indicted on Rape, Abuse of Power Charges 23 Jan 2007 Israel's attorney general notified President Moshe Katsav on Tuesday that he plans to indict him on charges of rape and abuse of power, a stunning accusation against the country's ceremonial head of state.
