This may come as a shock to you, but the Federal Government, and in particular the Executive Branch, is not Accountable to the American People. It is in the 3rd clip I think that Tim Ryan says the 9/11 CommissionRecommendations need to be implemented. The Commission was inept init's hearings/investigations, and therefore in their analysis of the cause of the problem, and hence their solutions. 9/11 was an inside job, and the problems are inside our government, but rarely is the problem solved by the problem. The solutions are therefore outside of our government. American people, we have a problem, hopefully we have a solution. Understanding the problem is the first step to solving it.Tim Ryan is doing a nice job of telling us about the obvious symptoms of the problem, but is clueless about where and why these symptoms are manifesting. Maybe we need to tell him? Well it is worth a try anyhow.

disappointing "mistakes were made" type answer:
Democrat Presidential frontrunner Senator Barack Obama has
responded to a question posed by an Infowars reader regarding

Three months after the reader sent Obama a correspondence outlining
her great concern that criminal elements of the government were

Thank you for contacting me regarding your belief that the U.S.

I appreciate hearing your passionate views on this matter.

often outrageous. The series of clear warnings about the potential

Perhaps Obama's statement "proof of government complicity is not
necessary when making the argument that the U.S. should accept some
responsibility for what happened on 9/11" is a clue to his thinking.
In other words, like most Democratic politicians, he may think that
proving the Bush administration was incompetent will be enough to
elect a Democratic president in 2008, and so that's as far as the
inquiry should go.
However, what all of the Democrats have to understand is that
bigger and bigger false flag attacks -- and the new wars and further
destructions of Constitutional rights which they enable -- will be
carried out unless the perpetrators of 9/11 are busted. If the school
yard bully is not punished, he will grow up to be a brutal criminal.
We should carry on with the campaigns started by 911Truth.org,
CongratulationsDemocratsNowDoYourJob.com, and others to demand that
all 2008 candidates declare where they stand on 9/11, and whether
they are willing to demand a new investigation, criminal
prosecutions, etc.

Jersey Girls Petition Please Sign and Forward - Thanks!

When it comes to 9/11, America right now is divided between two camps, those who trust the official account of the attacks, and those who, well, have questions. It's occasionally the case that the first camp will publicly denounce the second camp as a bunch of nutcases, and when this happens, it's usually the rowdier section of Camp Two, the Loose Change, bullhorn-wielding, "death to the New World Order" crowd, that takes the most heat.

What tends to get ignored, however, is the quieter section of Camp Two, and especially a group of widowed mothers from New Jersey and New York who over the last six years have worked harder than just about anyone to protect the country from terrorism. Few people realize that had it not been for the tireless efforts of the "Jersey girls" - Mindy Kleinberg, Kristen Breitweiser, Lorie Van Auken, Patty Casazza, and Monica Gabrielle - not only would the 9/11 Commission never have happened, but there most likely never would have been any investigation into what was the worst loss of life on American soil since the Civil War. No inquiry into our failed military defenses, or the collapse of the towers, or just why it was that President Bush sat in that Florida classroom for a full seven minutes after the second plane struck. No scientific reports, no effort to discover what went wrong, no hearings of any kind. No attempt to figure out the details of the whole who, what, where, when and why of the attacks. And again, what few people realize is that today, six years later, the Jersey girls are still fighting the exact same fight they were fighting on September 12, 2001, and for the same reason: to keep you, and me, and everyone we know, safe from terrorism.

The Vice President's Declassification Authority

"Is it your view that a Vice President has the authority to declassify information?" Vice President Cheney was asked yesterday by Fox News' Brit Hume.
"There is an executive order to that effect," replied the Vice President.
This was a simple answer to a straightforward question, but the matter is actually a bit more complicated.
The executive order in question is E.O. 13292 on classified national security information, issued by President Bush in March 2003.
It states in section 1.3 that "The authority to classify information originally may be exercised only by: (1) the President and, in the performance of executive duties, the Vice President; (2) agency heads and officials designated by the President in the Federal Register..."
Remarkably, the phrase "and, in the performance of executive duties, the Vice President," which dramatically elevates the Vice President's classification authority to that of the President, was added to the executive order in 2003.
Prior to that, the Vice President only had classification authority comparable to that of an agency head, having been delegated such authority in a 1995 presidential order.
So much for classification authority. What about declassification?
Declassification authority is defined in Section 6.1(l) of E.O. 13292. It is granted to: "(1) the official who authorized the original classification...; (2) the originator's current successor in function; (3) a supervisory official of either; or (4) officials delegated declassification authority in writing by the agency head or the senior agency official."
So the Vice President has authority to declassify anything that he himself classified. He also clearly has authority to declassify anything generated in the Office of the Vice President, which he supervises.
But is the Vice President, like the President, "a supervisory official" with respect to other executive branch agencies such as the CIA? Did the 2003 amendment to the executive order which elevated the Vice President's classification authority also grant him declassification authority comparable to the President's?
"The answer is not obvious," said one executive branch expert on classification policy.

6. How could the WTC towers collapse in only 11 seconds (WTC 1) and 9 seconds (WTC 2)—speeds that approximate that of a ball dropped from similar height in a vacuum (with no air resistance)?

NIST estimated the elapsed times for the first exterior panels to strike the ground after the collapse initiated in each of the towers to be approximately 11 seconds for WTC 1 and approximately 9 seconds for WTC 2. These elapsed times were based on: (1) precise timing of the initiation of collapse from video evidence, and (2) ground motion (seismic) signals recorded at Palisades, N.Y., that also were precisely time-calibrated for wave transmission times from lower Manhattan (see NCSTAR 1-5A).

Editors Comment: NIST says they determined the duration of the collapse of based on seismic readings. How did they determine when the ground began to shake, and how did they determine what started the ground shaking? This NIST statement is false on it's face. The duration of the collpase cannot be determined based on the seismic data.
