At the request of Dr. Julio Pino and myself, Kent State University's History department, Center for Applied Conflict Management, May 4th Task Force, and Kent State Anti-War Committee are co-sponsoring the book tour for "Army of None" which will be stopping by at KSU on September 20, 2007 at 7:00 PM, in the Student Center, 2nd floor, Governance Chambers. This event is free and open to the public so please come and bring a friend.
- I am still looking for more sponsors and if you'd like to be a sponsor for the Kent State stop please email me (all groups are encouraged and welcomed to become sponsors).
- There will be tables available for materials to be handed out from anti-war, peace, veterans, and student groups (all groups welcome). We are asking for a donation of $50 to cover the costs of this event if you want a space. If you have an organization that is interested in "tabling" please contact me; please note the space will be very limited.
If you are not in or around the Kent, Ohio area, I strongly encourage you to organize a stop in your city.
Attached is the flier for the event. Please feel welcomed to forward this email and the attachment to as many people as you like.
Thank you and hope to see you September 20!
Peace always,
Yvette Coil
